Persistence of the Solar River

It’s only fair to recognize the Solar Mountain’s conceptual inverse (loosely speaking), the Solar River.  The featured animation illustrates the summer and winter climatological average oscillations north and south.

The mounds are regions of the synoptic global atmosphere that express a relative deficit in atmospheric moisture.  The deeper areas to me represent the circulating reservoirs of moisture rich atmosphere.
